The Best of the Best! Tribute to Jolyn Whiting Buhrley

I know, I know that I have missed A LOT of people that I love on my Bday's blogs, and I am sooo sorry! I am trying to get a system down so that I can be on top of that and blogs are forever right, so one day you will make it on here! Today while listening to conference I couldn't get out of my mind that I missed one of my bestest friends birthday blog and that I really wanted to remember and tribute a few of the gazillion things I love about Joni. While listening to Elder Hollands talk about earthly Angels I began to reflect on those that have and are mine.. she definately was there!

A lot of you may not have met Joni but I am sure that a lot of you know her from stories about my Boise Family. I go to her house lots every year to visit and also to get to watch her 5 adorable kids whom I love with all my heart! She is the mother of those kids.

Joni is a peacemaker. She is always trying to make everyone around her feel loved, comfortable and special. She has the hugest heart in the entire world and would do ANYTHING she humanly could for anyone.

Joni is a sister to me. As you know I grew up with a Mom and a Brother. Joni and all her sisters have been so wonderful to gather me in and make me not feel sisterless. Joni ALWAYS is one of the first to call me on my birthday, unless I am already at her house that has happened A LOT in the past few years, funny how that all works out.

Joni has great character. She is always trying to be honest and make the right decision, the right way. She thinks before she makes a decision and considers everyone involved!

Joni is very talented. Not only is she extremely put together and organized, a Mom who tries really hard. She will try anything new, if she knows it is in the best interest of her cuties! She also is very athletic and just recently finished her dream of running in the Boston Marathon!Other random things that I love about Joni:

• She leaves me notes in my room when I arrive
• She can laugh at herself
• She always has healthy choices at her house
• She is generous at all times
• She is dependable
• She loves people deeply
• She is a good example
• She is easy to talk to and a great listener
• She knows how to make you feel special
• She trusts me with her most prized possesions (her kids)
• Her house feels like a home
• Her eyes sparkle with the light of Christ
• She loves my cooking :)

Joni, I know you know this, but I DEFINATELY celebrate your birth, your life and YOU! You have been a friend and sister to me through some of the saddest, happiest, changing times of my life. I celebrate your life everyday and love any opportunity I get to spend with you! Thanks for being such an important part of my life!!
